Why can't I download
free materials? I receive error message" the file is corrupt"
or I just see
a blank white screen.
This is a common
problem with Internet Explorer and the Acrobat plugin.
It has been reported for every
version of each.
The workaround:
Close
all open copies of Internet Explorer and Adobe Acrobat.
Start Acrobat stand-alone
from the windows "Start" menu.
Choose the Edit | Preferences
menu or hit Ctr-K.
Choose the "Internet"
item on the left side.
Uncheck "Allow fast
web view" and "Allow speculative
downloading in the background".
Click Ok.
Close Acrobat.
Start Internet Explorer.
Open the Tools | Internet
Options... menu
In the center of the
dialog, where it says "Temporary Internet Files", click
"Delete
Files".
Click "Ok"
and wait for it to finish clearing out the cached broken copies
of the PDF's.
Restart Internet Explorer,
and everything should work fine.
This was tested with Internet explorer version 6.0.2800.1106 and
Adobe Acrobat version 6.0.0.

How do I register
for a class online?
Use the Looking for Courses
link on the home page of KWU Online or the Courses link on the
left-hand navigation to search for a course. Once you have selected
a course, add it to your shopping cart using the ADD TO CART icon
found above and below the course details. When you are ready to
complete your registration, click on the VIEW CART logo at the
top right of the page, confirm your selections and proceed to
Checkout.
I can't add some classes to my cart? How do I register for
one?
Registration and charges
for locally-organized courses are handled in their respective
offices. To register, simply click on the email link at the bottom
right of the course description (e.g. To register for this course,
contact localperson@kw.com
. You should receive a response from the local professor,
with further instructions.
Can I register for multiple courses at the same time?
Yes. You can add as many
items to your cart as you wish before proceeding to Checkout.
Can I register for classes if I am not a KW® associate?
Yes.
If I am a KW® Associate do I need to register for an
account?
No. Use your KW®
Intranet username and password. If you cannot remember them, please
use the Password Help tool at http://intranet.kw.com/webmore/RemindPassword.do

Is adding an item to my cart the same as purchasing it?
No. When you are through
selecting courses, you will need to click the VIEW CART link on
the top, right-hand side of the page and purchase your classes
using the CHECKOUT button.
