 1.1 Edit Domain Info.
NOTE: If you have another domain name with another registrar, please refer to your registrar's instructions on creating a CNAME and then go directly to Step 3.
Step 1: Purchase your Domain Name

Click the Purchase a new domain name button.

A new browser window will apear.

- Enter the name for the domain you want to purchase in the Start Your Domain Name Search Here field and then click the Search button to the right.

If your domain name is available, a message will appear at the top of the screen indicating its availability and the tool will provide additional options for domain names that are available.

If your domain name is not available, a message will appear at the top of the screen indicating its unavailability and the tool will provide additional options for domain names that are available. Repeat step 2 until you are able to secure an available domain name.

- Click the Continue button at the bottom of the screen to continue with your domain name purchase. The Domain Registration Information screen will appear.

- Complete the required fields as indicated by the asterisk to the right of each required field and the click the Continue button.

- Verify your contact information is correct and then click the Continue button to complete your domain name purchase. NOTE: The contact information you enter here will be also displayed to the public.

- Select your domain registration preferences, your preferred type of registration, and your checkout preference (located in the corresponding sections) and then click the Continue button.

- Review your shopping cart, select your payment method, click on the appropriate terms and condition checkboxes, and then click the Checkout Now button.

- Complete the New Account Login Information and click the Continue with Checkout button. NOTE: Deselect the email option checkboxes if you do not wish to receive emails concerning this account and other marketing emails. HINT: It's a good idea to use your KW Intranet Login ID and Password here to help you easily remember. The image below illustrates the credit card option.

- Complete the required fields of your billing information and then click the Checkout Now button.

After the order is processed, you will receive your customer number and order number. These numbers will also be sent to the email you input in #4 above.

After you have purchased a domain name, you must setup a CNAME. A CNAME allows you to maintain your domain name in the website address bar as opposed to the yourKWAgent.com URL.

- Click on the My Account link from within the KW Domain Name Purchasing Tool and then enter the UserID and Password you created in #6 above. If you have forgotten your Login name and Password, you can use the Forgot Your Password? link below.

- Click on Domains on the left sidbar under My Products.

- Click the Domain Name link to open the Domain Details screen.

- Click the Total DNS Controls and MX Records link in the bottom of the blue shaded area.

The CNAME Records screen will appear.

5. Click on the Edit icon located in the Actions column of the 'www' CNAME Host record.

6. Click Yes when a pop-window appears asking you if you want to change the CNAME record.
7. Add your yourkwagent.com domain name (see section 2.4 Edit Site Info, then sitename in the KW Agent Website Admin Tool) to the Points to host name field and click OK.

You're almost done. Please log into the KW Intranet and then open the Agent Website Adminsitration Tool if it isn't already open.
- Add your new (or existing) domain name to section 1.1 of the Agent Website Administration Tool. Hint: this is the domain name you purchased in the KW Domain Name tool. Be sure to include 'www' at the beginning.

- Click the Save button to save your information. Make sure the Save Successful message displays on the screen when your domain infomration is successfully saved.
- Click the Next 1.2 button to go to the next page of the Agent Website Administration Tool.
